Deleting Images in a Post Does Not Delete the Image

I just recently learned a valuable lesson with deleting images from a post and replacing them with another pic. Without knowing it, I was creating duplicate content with images that I thought were deleted out of Wordpress; not to mention the mess that I was creating in my Media Library. If you remove an image from a post, you must delete it from the Media Library. Who knew!
