AdvoCare Review imageWelcome to my AdvoCare Review!

AdvoCare is a Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) company that is focused on offering safe and effective nutritional products, and providing a compelling business opportunity.

In this AdvoCare Review, I will be examining this company, as well as their products.  However, my emphasis in this AdvoCare Review will be on the MLM Business opportunity that they offer as an AdvoCare Distributor.

Does AdvoCare offer a legitimate MLM Business opportunity full of potential, or is this a scam or pyramid scheme?  This is my unbiased AdvoCare Review!

Every AdvoCare product is promoted and distributed exclusively through AdvoCare’s growing number of Distributors, transitioning us into my review of the AdvoCare Home Business opportunity.

MLM Business – How it all works…

AdvoCare Product Review imageThe cost to begin your business as a new AdvoCare Distributor is the price of your Distributor Kit.  This kit will cost $79.

Your Distributor Kit will contain $50 worth of product samples to begin sharing with others, as well as the necessary business supplies to assist you in getting started in your new venture.  You’ll also be provided with your own replicated website.

AdvoCare requires a $50 annual renewal fee, which will be due every anniversary date.

Compensation Plan – How their pay plan works

An AdvoCare Distributorship has three levels, and each level will determine your earning potential:

1. Distributor at 20%

For sales volumes between $0 – $499, you will qualify for a discount of 20%.

These discounts can be used for personal purchases, as well as for reselling to customers.

At this level, your earning potential is limited to 20% of every product that you sell.

2. Distributor at 20% to 40%

For sales volumes between $500 – $1,499, you will qualify for a discount of 25%.

For sales volumes between $1,500 – $2,999, you will qualify for a discount of 30%.

3. Advisor at 40%

Until you reach the Advisor level, your earning potential within the AdvoCare Compensation Plan will be limited.

For sales volumes of $3,000 or more, you will qualify for a discount of 40%.

At the Advisor level, you will be qualified to earn from all 5 elements of the AdvoCare Compensation Plan.  I will provide more details on these later on.

Leadership Positions

As you achieve qualifying milestones in your business, you will begin to progress through the various Leadership Positions within the AdvoCare Compensation Plan.  Many of these include:

  • Advisor
  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Gold 3 Star
  • Ruby
  • Ruby 6 Star
  • Emerald
  • Emerald 9 Star
  • Diamond
  • Platinum
  • Double Diamond

Compensation Plan Elements

1. Retail Profits

You will earn up to 40% in Retail profits, based upon the performance numbers that I illustrated above.

2. Wholesale Commissions

As you recruit new AdvoCare Distributors into your organization, you will earn up to 20% on their sales volumes.

3. Overrides

You will earn additional bonuses dependent upon the sales volumes throughout your entire organization.

4. Leadership Bonuses

Provides you with an additional 3 – 19% on your entire organization.

5. Incentives, Trips, & Pay-Period Bonuses

Earn gifts, vacations, and cash bonuses as a top-achieving Rookie Advisor.

Distributor Training & Support

AdvoCare MLM Training Review imageAdvoCare utilizes Network Marketing methods that are common in the MLM industry.  These methods are commonly referred to as Warm Marketing.

To sell products, and recruit new Distributors into your organization, you will be trained to approach your friends, family members, acquaintances, co-workers, etc.  Everyone who you personally know now, and in the future.

Immediately after you enroll with AdvoCare, you will be paired with a Sponsor who will be your direct line for training and support.

AdvoCare also provides company sponsored training events, including their popular Success School – a semi-annual event that provides AdvoCare Distributors with training, inspiration, motivation, and recognition.

However, with all of this training and support, Warm Marketing methods will still be at the core of your new Distributor training.

AdvoCare Review Conclusion

In my opinion, AdvoCare is a legitimate MLM Business opportunity, and is not a scam.  For more than 18 years, AdvoCare has been providing high-quality nutritional products that have been highly praised by many.

However, I would prefer to see AdvoCare utilize and train more modern and effective marketing strategies.

Food for thought…

While Warm Marketing methods worked well in the 60s, 70s, and 80s, they have proven that they are not an effective way to build a home business in today’s modern world.

Depending on your goals, building a successful AdvoCare Business is going to require a combination of hundreds, if not thousands of loyal customers and Distributors, a goal that will prove to be extremely difficult for those who are limited to their Warm Market.

Very few people possess a large enough list of contacts to build a business of this nature, which is the reason why 97% of those who participate in a MLM opportunity ultimately do not succeed.

Simply put, Distributors are not trained more effective methods to build their business!

With that being said, I believe that AdvoCare offers great products, and a solid business opportunity if you are able to bring an effective marketing strategy to your new venture.

I hope that you have found my AdvoCare Review to be informative and educational!  I wish you the best of luck in your home business research!

I did not see you commenting on the pyramid like structure of advocare or it’s seemingly unsistainable levels.

It is always hard to find well-informed people on this subject topic, you sound like you are aware of exactly what you are talking about! Bless you

  3. Damon says:

I’ve been a distributor for 3 years now. Advocare is just like any other business; you have to put in the work to make money. It’s alot like owning a small business in that you have to do your own marketing and sales, but Advocare does offer tons of resources. I have heard from people that were talked into trying it and didn’t like it, but it’s generally because they underestimated the amount of work it takes. Overall, I’d rate the supplements as slightly above average. They are careful not to jump on the ‘hype’ bandwagon for new supplements. I haven’t sold anything for over a year but still use the supplements. I primarily used the supplements to offer them to my personal training clients. As with most MLMs, the retail price is high, but with the Advisor discount the price isn’t bad. Bottom line, if you are interested in trying to be a distributor, be prepared to work, but the payoff can be great. We made a few thousand in the first year only working a few hours a month at expos, mixers, and through friends/family.

Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this website. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s tough to get that “perfect balance” between superb usability and appearance. I must say you have done a very good job with this. Additionally, the blog loads super fast for me on Safari. Superb Blog!

  5. Aaron Davis says:

Does anyone know a legitament way to advertise my advocare website online? That isn’t a complete scam or cost hundreds of dollars? I really need help and want to know.

    • Dave Fennell says:

      Hello Aaron,

I would recommend starting a blog, particularly on a WordPress platform. The costs associated with getting started is very low and this option also does not cost much to maintain. However, it will take a tremendous amount of work for your blog to become successful. But it is definitely worth it. The only hiccup is that you will need to check with AdvoCare to see if they allow this. Many Multi-Level Marketing companies have restrictions or strict guidelines that their distributors much adhere to when utilizing the internet to market their business.

      Best of luck!

      Dave

If you’re wondering how a mentor can help you, think about all the things someone who has
already made a six or seven figure income, either with Advo – Care or in the
marketing arena alone, can teach you. The normal life-span of your community internet marketer is approximately 2-90 days.
