Conklin Company Review imageWelcome to my Conklin Company Review!

Conklin Company is on a mission to build a business that is committed to growth, and helping people to see who they really are and the difference they can make in the lives of others.

In this Conklin Company Review, I will be reviewing this company and their products, as well as providing the facts concerning the MLM Business opportunity that they offer as a Conklin Independent Business Owner.

Does Conklin Company offer a legitimate MLM Business opportunity, or is this a scam or pyramid scheme?  This is my unbiased Conklin Company Review.

Company Details & History

Conklin Company Business imageConklin Company was originally founded by Harry Conklin in 1969, and was owned and operated by the Conklin family until 1992.  In 1992, Charles W. and Judy Herbster (previous Conklin Independent Business Owners) purchased Conklin, and to this very day, Charles and Judy still continue the same mission and traditions that Conklin Company was founded upon.

Product Line

For more than 40 years, Conklin Company has been offering more than 130 products across multiple industries and niches, including:

  • Crop Management
  • Animal Supplements
  • Health & Home
  • Lawn Care
  • Roofing Systems
  • Sealants & Coatings
  • Vehicle Products

These products are offered exclusively through their vast network of Conklin Independent Business Owners, providing an opportunity for individuals to increase their income and achieve financial security.

MLM Business – How it all works

Conklin Company Products imageWhether you are already a business owner who wishes to use or promote Conklin products to grow your already established business, or if you are simply an individual searching for a viable home business, Conklin Company’s MLM Business opportunity targets anyone with an entrepreneurial spirit.

The diversity in their product line offers entrepreneurs the ability to specialize and offer products to a variety of different customers.  Whether you desire to service Crop Producers, Livestock Producers, Roofing, Painting, and Building Contractors, or just simply participate in Direct Sales to consumers, Conklin Company offers the products to do so.

Getting Started

To begin your business as a new Conklin Independent Business Owner (IBO), you will have two options:

1. Enroll as a Preferred IBO

This includes a $25 enrollment fee, and a $50 minimum initial order within your first 30 days to activate your account.

Preferred IBOs receive a 20% discount from retail pricing on all product purchases for either personal use and consumption, or to sell to customers.

2. Enroll as a Wholesale IBO

This option is designed for serious entrepreneurs who wish to optimize their earning potential within the Conklin Company Compensation Plan.

Wholesale IBOs enjoy a 50% discount from retail pricing on all product purchases for either personal use and consumption, or to sell to customers.

Purchase requirement

Enrolling as a Wholesale IBO requires a purchase of one of the following Packages, depending on the type of customers you intend to service:

  • Fastrack Animal Microbials Package – $799
  • Standard Grower Package – $799
  • Standard Contractor Package – $799
  • Conklin Business Seminar Training – $799
  • Fastrack Companion Animal Package – $799
  • Premier Grower Package – $1,199
  • Premier Contractor Package – $1,199
  • Leadership Advantage Package – $2,950
  • Wholesale Volume Purchaser Package – $7,500 minimum

Questions that must be asked…

Conklin does not provide any details regarding the qualifications for earnings within their compensation plan. You will need to get in touch with an IBO to learn if there are requirements that must be met in order to earn the maximum commissions and bonuses that their pay plan has to offer.

I mention this for a reason.  Typically in MLM companies, when there are several product packs offered to begin a business, the higher priced options are required to earn the maximum earnings within that company’s compensation plan.  While this may or may not be the case with Conklin, you will need to contact an IBO directly to learn the facts.

Requirements

To maintain your active status as an IBO, Conklin requires $100 in cumulative annual purchases.  If your account has three years of inactivity, your account will be closed.

Compensation – How to earn

As a Conklin Company IBO, you will of course earn commissions for all product sales.  But in addition to that, you will earn additional compensation based upon the time and efforts of others as you begin to build an organization of Conklin IBOs.

Leaders and top performers are rewarded with travel to exotic destinations, recognition at annual events, and cash prizes.

Conklin Company Review Conclusion

In my opinion, Conklin Company is a legitimate MLM Business opportunity.  For the fact that they manufacture and distribute a diverse product line of more than 130 individual products proves that they are not a scam.

If you possess the desire to expand your existing business, or simply begin a new venture to create a second income, I believe that Conklin Company offers a solid opportunity with many great products to do so.

I hope that you have found my Conklin Company Review to be informative and educational!  I wish you the best of luck in your home business search!

  2. C. McSpadden says:

The number one thing that bothers me about Conklin is how Charles and Judy manage their financial obligations. There’s been many reports that they don’t pay their vendors, their taxes and live a life of excess while the people that work for them live in near poverty. Several employees (in the Kansas City area) have lost their homes and farms while still pounding the pavement promoting Conklin. Conklin MLM just doesn’t work. Buyers beware!

    • BEB says:

I find this comment rather interesting since Charles Herbster’s daily driver is a truck that has over 200,000 miles on it and is over 10 years old. I personally know Charles and Judy. They treat their IBO’s lavishly, but live rather modestly on a day-to-day basis.

    • Conrad J Miller says:

I personally am a Conklin IBO, and their products are hands down some of the finest on the market today. I built my business on Conklin and am proud of it. I suggest to refrain from strong opinions until you experience it yourself.

      • cody says:

can i get some details from you sir. email me if so and we can go from there. thank you for your time

  3. andrew Y says:

interesting comment by mcspadden,I grew up around conklin and it has supported our family for 30 years, charles and judy are very thrifty people and they go above and beyond with their employees from what i have seen. The conklin buisness is very good but it takes work just like anything else in life .There is no free lunch !

  4. Daniel Lee says:

I was so broke I was below qualifications for bankruptcy. With the business model set forth by Conklin, we have built a very successful roofing business, with very little up front costs. Only training and brochures. Charles and Judy are very much against FREE money and believe everything should be earned, I feel very well compensated for the efforts I put in, we saved the farm and have helped many more improve their financial standing by following our business model. I would encourage anyone that is willing to work honestly to consider this conpany.

  5. Conklin is a legitimate business. They take great care of all their people, and have an awesome vision to help people, whether those people are the end user or the distributor.

  6. Andy Near says:

I’ve owned a roofing company for 21 years. I became a registered IBO in 2015. I was a little skeptical of the network marketing concept because I grew up close to Amway Headquarters. But after a year, and doing mor research, and talking with many other Conklin distributors, I’ve come to realize there’s almost no other opportunity that can offer a simple person of modest a true shot at financial freedom so long as they work hard. The plan is there. The support and team is there. Just plug in and go.

  7. john cummins says:

I sold conklin in the 70s and I was just wondering if you have an additive for auto’s that use synthetic oil or if you just have tko ? thank you for a answer john c.

  8. I have been contacted by a Conklin rep about joining the business. I am a business owner myself and at first I was very skeptical about joining them. The MLM aspect of the company is very odd to say the least but other than that if you forget about that aspect and just use the products to build your business then that alone should be a that is necessary. Where else can you get 50% off products and materials along with a team for support to help you grow. Just my take
