Is PartyLite a scam, pyramid scheme, or is this a legitimate MLM Business?

In this PartyLite Review, I will be providing a little PartyLite history, and will be reviewing their products, and more importantly, the MLM Business opportunity that they offer as a PartyLite Consultant.

Does PartyLite offer the most promising MLM Business opportunity?  This is my unbiased PartyLite Review.

Company Details & History

The PartyLite story begins in the early 1900s when founder Mabel Baker began her passion of making candles from wild bayberries.  Mabel was presenting her candles as gifts to her friends and family members until she transformed her passion for candles into a business in 1909.

Mabel Baker continued to grow and operate her business until her passing in 1965 at the age of 94.  At the time of her passing, her candle company was worth $6 Million.

In 1973, a subsidiary of her company was established, a company that would be recognized as PartyLite Gifts, Inc.

Product Line

The PartyLite product line has continued to expand over the years to meet the growing demands of their customers.  Today, not only does PartyLite offer a tremendous line of candles, but they also offer home fragrances, home decor, bath and body care products, and a whole assortment of various gifts.

PartyLite products are offered exclusively through a large network of more than 68,000 Consultants.

MLM Business – How it all works…

To become a PartyLite Consultant, you will have the opportunity to earn your Starter Kit at no charge.

PartyLite will go ahead and send you your Starter Kit, and when you are ready, you will host your very first Starter Party.  The proceeds that are generated in your first Home Party will be contributed to the cost of your Starter Kit.  This Starter Kit will include samples from the PartyLite product line, along with catalogs, business supplies, and business building tools.

Compensation – How earnings are earned

As a PartyLite Consultant, you will earn the difference between the retail price and the wholesale price for every product that you sell.  As you begin recruiting new Consultants to join your business, you will benefit from their personal production as well.

Host Rewards Program

PartyLite offers your potential hostesses a great incentive to invite you into their home to conduct these Home Parties.

PartyLite will reward your hostess with free merchandise and product discounts, based upon the sales that you generate in their home.  You will offer this added incentive when you are contacting your friends and family members to schedule your Home Parties.

PartyLite Review Conclusion

In my opinion, PartyLite is a very legitimate business.  This company has been growing and expanding at extraordinary rates for more than 100 years, proving that they are not a scam.  More than that, PartyLite is a known leader in this MLM industry.

However, while PartyLite Parties can provide an uplifting social outlet, and sales can be achieved in the homes of your friends and loved ones, building a long-term home business while using these methods will never be as simple as others may attempt to make it seem.

With that being said, if you are in search for a quality Multi-Level Marketing business opportunity, I believe that PartyLite offers a solid opportunity with a proven history of producing many successful PartyLite Consultants.
